Fall is my favorite time of year. It always brings me a sense of renewal probably due to the 12+ years of heading back to school with new school supplies, a new wardrobe, and a new sense of self; the habit just stuck. Although it has hit me late this year probably due to my normal routine being interrupted by Joel being at home more and the heat wave that I thought would never end.
