Throughout this summer, it has been hot. Not just the normal Texas weather that I grew up with either. The kind of hot where there is no rain, your rose garden burns up, and you ask yourself “Is that A/C working? “
This Friday I got started early on cleaning because next weekend we will be hosting at the house for Joel’s birthday. It will be the first time everyone will have been here to see the new house. We have no curtains hung in the living room/kitchen although there are blinds, which causes somewhat of a greenhouse effect for about two hours in the afternoon.
I didn't think much of it until the next day I started feeling a migraine coming on. I just chalked it up to the severe thunderstorms in the near future and change in the barometric pressure. But last night I actually had a fever of 105°.
I spent my day in bed today while Joel watched William and did some extra cleaning. The fever is back down to 99°. Hopefully I will feel better in the next few days and can actually enjoy the cool weather!
